I aim to bring joy into your home with my contemporary handmade ceramics. Working from my garden studio based in South Queensferry in Scotland, my designs are heavily influenced by my childhood memories of growing up in the countryside in Ireland, creating various landscape design pieces, as well as some coastal designs influenced from where I now live in the coastal village of South Queensferry in Scotland.
Each piece I make is handmade and therefore unique in itself. At the end of 2019, I invested in my own equipment and had a studio built in my garden, which brought about the beginning of Rosie Hay Ceramics.
Making pottery is such a calming meditative experience for me. It’s something I hope to be doing for many years to come and I’m looking forward to the journey it takes me on.
